When a weapon passes through an exit point without proper authentication and authorization, the system automatically triggers real-time audio and visual alerts, immediately notifying designated personnel and security teams. These instant alerts enable rapid response, helping prevent unauthorized weapon exits before they escalate into security incidents.

GOBO Weapon Tracking Software is designed to manage both Serialized and Non-serialized items within a single, unified system. Serialized items are uniquely identifiable by a distinct ID, such as a serial number, and are tagged with organization-wide unique RFID tags or barcode labels. Typical examples include rifles, pistols, and other firearms. Non-serialized items, on the other hand, consist of multiple identical items that share the same identifier, such as magazines, batons, ammunition, and holsters. GOBO Weapon Tracker efficiently handles the issuance, return, and tracking of both serialized and non-serialized items, while also supporting the management and consumption tracking of consumable items e.g. ammo to ensure complete operational and inventory control.

GOBO Weapon Tracker includes an Offline Check-in/Check-out feature purpose-built for firing range operations. Firing ranges are often located in remote areas with limited or no wireless network connectivity, making online systems impractical. To address this, the solution enables secure management of weapon and equipment issuance and returns in fully offline mode. Using tablets and RFID handheld scanners, personnel can continue operations without disruption, with all transactions securely synchronized to the central system once connectivity is restored.
